PURe ink systems AG was exhibiting at Fachpack 2022, the European trade fair for Packaging, Technology and Processes, in Nuremberg from 26 to 29 September. The event, which this year was themed “Transition in Packaging”, is the meeting place for the packaging industry in Europe. Around 32,000 trade visitors from 90 countries took the opportunity to find out about the latest trends and innovations for tomorrow’s packaging at the stands of more than 1,000 exhibitors.
PURe presented its innovative, natural and sustainable ink system at the fair and numerous interested parties received information from our experts on site about the USPs and advantages of PURe and discussed possible uses and applications for their products.
PURe inks offer offset printers an excellent opportunity to make their print products even more sustainable and also to save energy in the production process.
“Meeting and exchanging ideas with experts at the exhibition gave us valuable impetus. We are taking away interesting new contacts, fresh ideas and also one or the other inspiration for developing joint projects,” says Bernd Uhlig, Brand Ambassador at PURe ink systems AG.
At a special event on the first day of Fachpack, the winners of this year’s German Packaging Award were celebrated. Among them was the Tubex GmbH, which won a sustainability category award for its PURe varnish, the world’s first biodegradable coating varnish for aluminium aerosol cans.
“The ingredients used for our varnish are based without exception on renewable raw materials and a large part of them even comply with food grade standards,” says Dr Artur Eisele-Kohler, Head of Product Development, PURe ink systems AG.
